Abstract
|
|
|
A case of congenital thrombocytopenia in a neonate born to the mother with idiopathic
thrombocytopenic purpura was presented.429 year old mother with ITP delivered a Bale
baby without obstetric complication at IUP 37 week period. In both of the mother and
the neonate, the presence of platelet antibody was suggested by platelet factor 3 assay.
Asymptomatic thrombocytopenia in the neonate persisted for more than 2 weeks. the
describe the case with laboratory findings, clinical course and with brief review of
literature.
